HOW TO: Backup your data

  1. Automating backup
    • If you have Windows XP or Vista use the File and Settings Transfer Wizard. If you have Windows 98, 2000 Skip to Section 2
  2. Manual Backup
    1. Start ->All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools ->Files and Settings Transfer Wizard click Next
    2. When the Select a transfer method page appears, select Floppy drive or other removable media and click Next. The What do you want to transfer page appears.
    3. This page lets you select settings only, files only, or both files and settings. Details of each option appear in the right pane.
